Dr.Scholl's® For Her

I've tried some shoe inserts before for my dress shoes and have never been particularly impressed. I don't wear heels because within an hour my feet hurt, by the end of the night I've kicked them off under the table, and when I get home I walk in the house barefoot because I can't stand the idea of putting them back on.

I saw the BZZAgent trial of Dr.Scholl's For Her, and figured, "What the heck, I'll give them a shot." They arrived in the mail, and honestly didn't look all that different from other inserts I'd tried, so I wasn't very optimistic. I had a wedding to go to, and was going to be wearing one of my favorite (looking) pair of heeled sandals. I figured if anything, the inserts would give me an extra half-hour of not sore feet. After wearing them to the wedding, I'm happy to say I was 100% wrong. I not only wore my heels the entire night, I walked into the house with them on! My feet were only a little sore by the end of the night, nothing close to how they usually feel after an evening in heels. I will most certainly be recommending these to friends, and will be getting myself more.

COVERGIRL NatureLuxe

For my first "campaign" I was sent a full-sized tube of COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and a full-sized stick of NatureLuxe Gloss Balm...along with a stack of coupons for $2 off the foundation.

The first thing Mia discovered about the foundation was that if you squeeze the tube, it will come shooting out, just like Mom said it would. It did provide excellent coverage on the cotton t-shirt she was wearing.

Now, on to how it worked on my face: It was felt very light and the coverage was good for a light foundation...more like a tinted moisturizer, actually. I gave a nice finish after it "set", but by the end of the day it looked like I didn't have anything on at all. That could be due to the product, or the fact I have combination skin. I think if you have drier skin, it might work better. With my skin type, it also felt a little greasy going on, but the smell was nice.

On to the lip balm: I liked that it added just a little bit of color with a sunscreen and a moisturizer, which is what I prefer in the spring/summer. I was surprised that it seemed to make my lips feel dry and I found myself having to apply it more often than I would my typical lip balm. Also, the color I got was a bit dark for my taste, and the color seemed to bleed around the edges of the lips after wearing it all day. I'll probably stick with my usual balm and gloss.
